Kitchen Cabinet Dress Panel And Filler Prices
Kitchen dress panels are placed on any exposed cabinet side. This will cover the construction sides of the cabinets and give you a professional finish for your kitchen. The dress panels can be placed on the side of any base cabinets, top cabinets, pantry cabinets or bar areas.
A dress panel on the base, pantry or bar area can be made in the cabinet's height or go to the floor. As an example, if your base cabinets are 720mm high and the kitchen kicks are 130mm high you could choose to either have the dress panel 720mm high and return the kicks OR have the dress panel 850 high (720 +130) heading all the way to the floor.
Filler plays an important role when it comes to planning your new kitchen. A filler will allow you to have a bit of play along fixed walls. A filler can be fitted with the thickness showing or front on. Fillers are used on base cabinets, top cabinets and pantry cabinets where they meet the wall. This will give your door a buffer when it is opened and the handle will not mark the wall over time. Filler will also be used in corners where you have 2 cabinets meeting in the corner. Normally you allow a 50mm filler so the doors and drawers will not hit each other when opening.
Dress panels and fillers are available in all door finishes to match your selected door option. Laminate dress panels are 16mm thick and Poly and Vinyl wrap are 18mm.
