Frequently asked questions
- 01Feb - Oct 3 - 5 weeks lead time. Sep - Jan 6 - 8 weeks lead time All time lines are based on materials being available with no back orders. If items are on back order we will provide a substitute product to prevent delays in getting the job dispatched
- 02No, we do not offer cabinet installation. We provide a quality product that is pre-assembled, Australian made and ready for installation. A carpenter, handyman or builder will be able to install quickly without having to assemble a flat pack.
- 03We service Sydney, Newcastle, the Central Coast, Wollongong, the South Coast and Bowral. We do not send cabinets or benchtops interstate.
- 04No, we do not offer doors only.
- 05No, we do not offer carcasses only.
- 06We currently have a few ways to get a quote. 1. Email you plans to info@diyaustralia.com. 2. Book an appointment in the showroom to speak to a designer about your kitchen. 3. Book a zoom meeting and email your plans so we have the details for the zoom meeting.
- 07We will contact you to book in a design session.
- 08After accepting a quote, we require a 20% deposit to get the design drawings underway. After the drawings are approved in Docusign, we require a 30% payment to start manufacturing. Final payment is due 2 days before delivery. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and bank transfers.
- 09As we operate on a made-to-order basis, we require a minimum order of $4000 to cover production costs and the time invested in designing your new kitchen. But don't worry if your order doesn't reach $4000! We're happy to process it for you, albeit with a small service fee. Here's a breakdown: • Orders between $1000 and $2000: $700 service fee • Orders between $2001 and $3000: $450 service fee • Orders between $3001 and $4000: $250 service fee If you have any questions or need further details, please don't hesitate to contact our friendly team at the office.
